What if...?
Coaching wasn't something I planned...
It showed up as an inevitability.
I was on a creative journey of photography and storytelling when I was invited as a creative mentor in an addiction clinic in London. I focused specifically on adolescents and teenagers. It was then that I discovered something unexpected: adults don't see teenagers at their level; they expect them to rise to theirs. Good luck with that.
I found a purpose to showing up that went beyond the paycheck. I was now showing up for a generation that needed guidance and someone they could fully trust. That's a tall order: I had to show up for them. But more importantly, I had to truly see them. In doing so, I enable them to choose a direction for their future that they can own fully.

"I do this, because there is a calling to show up for others." - JP Defaut
